Devil wears Prada effect

I'm just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as me and what do you do?

Basically over the past couple of years I've gotten really into YouTube and ended up with my own Andi experience learning how fashion trends work, what designer brands are out there and how to recognize them etc..

My problem is that I don't have the budget to be spending a lot of money on a bag and I refuse to go into debt for one but equally when I go to buy a bag (for example if I need new work bag or going out bag) I now see that the bags in my budget are mostly dupes and usually not great quality.

I know the answer is probably to use some of my savings and go for a lower/mid range bag in the 2/300 range but I really struggle to let myself spend that much money even when I know it's something I will keep for years.

I guess I'm wondering if anyone else A) is seeing how cerulean comes down the fashion chain 🤣 B) struggles with bag wishlist vs not wanting dupes C) allowing yourself to spend money and not feeling bad about it
