Do I need a CT Angio? I have a CAC of 0 but have been having chest pain for the past 2 years
elevated ldl from 4 months at 130-145. Last year it was 114. High LPa at 65 mg/dl or 154 nmol. HDL is 90 and Trigs are 60.
Got a CAC of 0 and a TMT with 13.4 METs
Exercise everyday and can cycle in the mountains for 2-3 hours
Last week went for a cycling trip and cycled for 4 hours without any breathlessness. Lift weights.
I have severe costochondritis that flares up in the winters but apart from that no breathlessness
HSCRP of 0.2, HB1AC of 5.1, fasting sugar 85. Family history of high lpa but mom got a CAC of 0 at 57 with an Lpa of 45 mg/ dl or 110 nmol.
Rest of the markers are normal
Ive been reading really bad horror stories that people had all fine tests and a CAC of 0 but then their soft plaque ruptured and they had an event
4 Echos and 300 ECGs are normal.
No LVH or ST changes/ QT prolongation
However chest pain is there.
Ive had over 300 ECGs during these chest pain episodes and not even one of them has caught something like a PVC or a PAC. The cardiologists have said that they are totally unremarkable.
Ive also had 3 echos during these pains and during tachycardia but those have also been normal with LVEF of 60%
Normal thyroid, metanephrines, potassium 4.5, sodium 136, magnesium normal, vitamins normal.
BP sometimes in 100s, sometimes 110s and evenings high at 140s and 130s then returns to 120s or 110s at night. Diastolic is fine <80 and many times <70.
