Testosterone still low, still experiencing symptoms…

I’ve been on testosterone gel for two months. I take half a pea sized amount daily. I got my test results back. My testosterone and Free Androgen are still low and my SHBG is high. Results below.

However, I’m experiencing hair loss and acne on my chin/jawline. I have no idea why or what’s going on! It’s not making any sense to me.

I’m afraid to up the dose because I’m experiencing these symptoms. At the same time, I’m not getting enough testosterone.

Has anyone experienced this before?! I’d appreciate any help!!

Lower - Testosterone 12 ng/dL 4 - 50

Low - Free Androgen Index 0.2 0.4 - 8.4

High - Sex Horm Binding Glob, Serum 196.0 nmol/L Reference Interval: 24.6-122.0, Unit: nmol/L

Normal - DHEA-Sulfate 158.0 Reference Interval: 41.2-243.7, Unit: ug/dL
