What does it usually mean if a guy chooses to spend his birthday with you?

I’ve become really close with this guy I've been hanging out with for almost a year now. Last week was his birthday. He took a leave from work and spent the whole day with me (as in 24 hours kaming magkasama).

I'm not on the younger side, and it's been a while since I've experienced something like this, so now I'm overthinking (as usual, hahaha). I'm not hoping for anything more naman.. I just genuinely don't know if this usually means something when a guy does it.

Side note: He's really close with his family, and he has a solid group of friends/barkada, so it's not like he had no one else to spend the day with.

Does it sound like a sign, or am I just reading too much into it? 🫣
