Looking for honest experiences with enterprise planning tools

Running a SaaS product with multiple moving parts makes planning messy. My team keeps hitting the same wall. We track tasks well but we lose visibility on costs and resource load.

Every time priorities shift we realise too late that hours or budget slipped somewhere. I am tired of patching things with ten sheets and a prayer.

Someone I know mentioned that their org adopted Unit4 for planning because it handled finance and capacity in one view. I checked a bit and it seems built for complex setups, not just giant companies.
