The Grid Foodcourt Battle

Let's talk about The Grid food court in Powerplant mall. Probably the most high-end food court in Manila -- with some marked as Michelin-Bib. What are our thoughts on this food court?

I'm a regular for convenience but I feel that it's too expensive for what you get compared to if you go to a sit-down restaurant in Powerplant.

If the restaurants there battle for their spots, which ones would you want to stay and which ones would go? What would you replace it with? 🀣

FOR ME:

STAY: Pilya's

  • The best spot for me in The Grid and they rightfully deserve their Michelin!
  • Yeah the food is still at P 400-600 but it is QUALITY in cooking and taste.

STAY: Maisen (tonkatsu)

  • Definitely the best bang for your buck at P 289 you get the full set with soup, salad and rice rice
  • it tastes good. Consistent too!

STAY: Kodawari

  • Thank god for Kodawari without a queue but what do you mean a rice bowl of salmon is already P 885? πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«
  • But yes it's yum

STAY: China Mommy

  • Underrated! The Chinese Lumpia really slaaaaps.

GO: ONO Poke Bowl

  • I love you ono but this is the most expensive version of ONO and you're prolly better off ordering via Grab for the same thing but so much cheaper 🀣

GO: Gochugang

  • I don't know, I gave it many chances but it is really. not. giving! Priced at around 400+ but looks and tastes like a hundred 🀣🀣 Please!
  • Replace with something like Masil or Yedang

GO: Bored and Hungry

  • I dont get it and Sweet X or Raging Bull Burgers would be GREAT replacements

Idk these are just at the top of my mind. SO what's yours?
