Never ending engorgement

From what I’m reading, my painful morning engorgement should’ve ended a long time ago, I’m 4 months pp. Does anyone have any advice? I have to pump every morning so baby can latch better. Some nights she’ll surprise me and feed at night and that’ll help. She’s been sleeping up to 12 hrs since she was two months. She has phases where she’ll wake up every night for 2-7 nights in a row and I look forward to those 🥲.

I’ve tried pumping 1/2 oz per side before I go to bed per the lactation consultants advice but it didn’t resolve the issue. Also my breasts feel empty at 10-11 pm.

I was wondering if I should get up super early in the am to pump or apply ice packs. I can commit to this for a short time if it’ll resolve the issue but I wouldn’t want to do this daily.
