My ferritin is 3-6, but doctor says it’s fine. Those around me say I’m lazy. Help. 😢

I can’t tolerate the iron tablets I first bought (ferrochel amino iron), as it mess my gastritis and IBS, so gonna try gentle iron, blueiron or some drops and liquids like Floradix. But I feel so unheard from my doctors. I want a new primary doctor, but it takes 6 months or so. I have heavy periods, so lose a lot of blood every month. My ferritin was 6 a week ago, now 3 - and I’m due on my period in a week.

I’ve asked my doctor what to do, but get no guidance. She said it’s fine due to my hemoglobin being normal (8,5). And that I can just take an iron tablets if I want, but shouldn’t if it flares my gastritis. I did take the iron tablet, which then flared my gastritis and IBS. So she said I could just stop. Only just recovering after 3 days of not taking the supplement (ferrochel); only took it for 3 days. I’m scared to try another supplement, as the gastritis and IBS flare flared my heart arrythmias bad too. But don’t know what else to do, since my doctor says do nothing about it, as it doesn’t matter and that all my symptoms are just anxiety and lack of activity. That I should consider anxiety meds and exercise instead of iron.

I feel so weak over just walking for 5 mins or even holding my phone, and my heart pounds a lot, on top of me already having arrythmias (frequent PVCs, PACs and runs). Since the doctors have told my family and friends it’s just anxiety, and I do have anxiety (mainly over my heart and symptoms and feeling so fragile); those around me say I’m just making it up, need help for the anxiety only and that it can’t be that bad.
