What’s next?
I was diagnosed last year by my dermatologist after TWO DECADES of being chronically misdiagnosed with UTI’s BV & yeast infections even after negative tests by my gyno’s. I am married and in a happy relationship but demanded a mycoplasma test this year because I was convinced I had something. After more negative everything I have finally accepted that I’m having the worst lichen sclerosus flair of my life. I didn’t know it was this or this is what it felt like until I went back to the dermatologist and she confirmed it. I think I need a new gynecologist. I also have psoriasis and she said ever since Covid and the Covid vaccines they’ve seen soooo many more people coming in with these diagnosis’s. Everything still looks normal almost just like a circular dermatitis around my whole vulva. But the pain and itching this time is unreal. I was having pelvic pain and discharge as well but that seems to have subsided. I have been doing clobetasol twice a day for weeks now and it’s still very uncomfortable. By my own research I found the Coyle Institute’s Tulip Procedure and have been finding little bits about the Mona Lisa treatment on Reddit. I’m interested to say the least despite the out of pocket cost. I’m only 39yo. Please, if you’ve had either of these procedures or any others would you mind sharing your experience or advice with me??? Thank you in advance 🙏🙏🙏
