Bringing my corn snake to school?

im thinking about bringing my corn snake to school for a presentation, she is pretty small and she would have to stay in a container all day but it would only be like 8 hours and it would be warm enough for her. im just worried about what container to bring her in because obviously her enclosure is way too big. would a 2 gallon fishtank with a lid work for just the day or should I scrap the idea. she would be able to either stay in my locker or the biology classroom where she would be left alone all day. is this a bad idea and am I bad snake owner for trying to use my baby for extra credit 😭 please don't come at me she is well cared for and I love her more than anything.
