GFCI breaker wiring with multiple downstream loads
I am installing a new pool pump that has a relay board in it that I will use to control 2 other pieces of 120V pool equipment. The relay board only takes hot, no neutral. I want to use a 1-pole 20A GFCI breaker (Siemens QPF2 specifically) to provide power to the relay board. Note that the pump itself gets its primary power from a separate 2-pole 20A GFCI breaker.
For these two 120V loads with a GFCI breaker, is it OK to run a pigtail off the GFCI breaker load neutral terminal and then wire nut that in the panel to the neutrals from the 2 downstream devices? Again, both downstream devices share the same hot from the GFCI breaker as they run through the same relay board. The panel neutral pigtail on the breaker would of course be connected to the panel neutral bus bar.
Is this allowed by code? Could there be nuisance tripping?
