[F4M] Flight encounter with an older gentleman (35+)

NSFWF4M

Here is a plot that gives an idea of what I am looking for, I am not tied to this and open to brainstorm more.

She meets him on a late-night flight, a red-eye heading back from a trip she probably shouldn’t have taken alone. The plane is half-empty, the cabin lights low, and there’s that calm hush that always settles once everyone’s buckled in. She’s in the window seat, restless, earbuds in, tapping her leg to some quiet song. When he arrives, he’s the last to board, sliding into the seat beside her with an apology that sounds expensive, warm, confident, unhurried. He looks like someone used to being obeyed without asking.

He’s older, maybe mid-forties, wearing a dark suit that still looks pressed even after a long day. His tie is loosened, his hair perfectly graying at the temples, his watch sleek and understated. She notices the wedding ring, but not before she notices how his forearm flexes when he reaches for the overhead bin. He smells faintly of cedar and clean skin, not cologne. When he sits, he thanks her for holding the armrest and opens a laptop. She sneaks glances while pretending to read.

His name is XXXXX, a senior executive for a tech firm returning home from a week of meetings. Fit, disciplined, a man who’s lived most of his life in control rooms and boardrooms. Married for years, but the kind of man whose silence says more than any confession ever could. He answers her small talk with polite patience, but the longer they speak, the easier it gets for him to forget the hour, the flight, the world waiting on the other side of the landing gear.

She’s young flying home after a solo trip that was supposed to be a form of freedom. She’s curious, too quick to smile, with a spark that makes her seem both fearless and vulnerable. The conversation starts harmless, where they’ve been, what they do, how much they hate airports, but every shared look grows heavier. His voice gets lower. Her laugh lingers longer than it should.
