I had another shifting experience!
Hey everyone! So I had another shifting experience again which some may call a “mini shift”. But I also had a very vivid dream about my waiting room and that has very rarely happened before with places I wanted to shift to. (To be honest i’ve changed where I wanted to shift to a lot 😭). After that I shifted to a weird alternate reality for about 10-15 minuets. Definitely more clear than my last shift even though I didn’t do a reality check this time.
Before I start I just want to say something. In the shifting part of this experience, I didn’t do a reality check because I forgot. If I am being honest I sometimes find reality checks redundant. Why? Because you could shift to a reality that feels like a lucid dream, You could shift to a reality where you could pinch your nose and still be able to breathe. There are literally no rules because all of these realities are just reflections of your awareness including this cr. No reality is objectively “real” and I even tested this before my experience. You are literally dreaming right now in this waking dream. However, the experience may appear to be different which I understand so I will explain later how I know this was a shift.
What I “did” before the shift: So I have been having a lot of realisations recently that there truly is no separation between me and my waiting room. I realised this especially after a slump I was in. I don’t see awareness as strictly non dualism or anything. I believe it goes beyond all labels. But I still follow some tiktokers who talk about it and there is this one tiktoker who has a youtube account called zuckerabudi. He showed people a practice. It’s not really a practice but more of a noticing.
Stare at your hand, but don’t use the word “hand”. Don’t use any labels. You may have thoughts come up about it being a hand because you are consciously choosing to not label it. Don’t engage with those thoughts, let them pass. Eventually when I continued to stare at my “hand”. Reality started to feel dream like almost and suddenly this separation between “me” and my “hand” dissolved. It was no longer my “hand”. It was simply a reflection of my awareness. When you stop trying to label everything, the character doesn’t know what to do she starts scrambling at first but then this sense of a “me” dissolves.
So then I had the idea of applying this to my waiting room. I got a picture of my waiting room, which is something I designed from a game called spirit city lofi sessions. I stared at it and this one was difficult because my mind kept going “waiting room”, or “bed” or “chair” whatever was in the room. But I didn’t engage, I just let them pass. Then suddenly I stopped feeling the separation between “me” and my “waiting room.” So much to the point where reality started to feel dream like and I saw things in the picture move. It felt like I was actually in my waiting room. It was very trippy.
Eventually I snapped out of it and I decided to take an afternoon nap. I was dipping in and out of sleep and eventually I fell asleep but I had some really cool experiences.
My Dream before the shift: So before the dream I kept feeling my consciousness flying in and out and I kept dipping in and out of a dream where I was asking my mother permission to shift for some reason 😭. I don’t have a good relationship with her in my cr. But then I realised “wait I don’t need permission from her, she’s just a reflection of me anyways.”
Then my vivid dream started about my waiting room. For some reason the walls were white which didn’t make sense because the walls are supposed to be dark and then they changed colour. It was a bit hazy but my room looked soo much bigger than the picture. It also had this blue dome thing and there was kitchen in there? which wasn’t in my picture which was cool. I then walked out of the room and went upstairs which lead to another kitchen which was cool, and overall it looked like a house. Very cozy vibes, I loved it! Then I believe the dream stopped.
Actual Mini Shift: So this part is very cool, so I had a thought like “oh i’m in my cr again”, before opening my eyes but then I heard a voice in my head saying “open your eyes you’re not in your cr.” It wasn’t like a proper voice more just a message in my head. When I woke up I was in a room that looked like my old university room from when I lived out but bigger and I was so confused lol. I remember everything feeling real like this reality. Suddenly when I turned around there were all these pictures of me in swimming costumes with trophies? I think I was a professional swimmer in this reality 😂. There was also a small biography at the bottom of one of my pictures I think it said “champion” that’s the only word I can remember but there were a lot of other words.
I opened the door and it led to this beautiful mansion with a spiral stare case different to the mansion I shifted to a few years ago, and I remember calling my dad but I don’t think anyone was home. I walked down the stairs and I decided to go out the door, there was a statue of a dog outside I remember and it was raining. The rain felt so real. Then I saw someone I knew from high school and a bunch of other people? I think we lived in the same neighbourhood but they seemed to be going down stairs somewhere. I went and said “hey” to her but she gave me some cold look. I asked someone else what was wrong with her and I think we were rivals or something because I think she was like “your parents wrote about her parents in their book.” and I was so confused 😂. I think she said “she’s just jealous of you.” Then the girl (my old friend who i don’t even speak to now) tried to talk to me and I think we were beefing or something. Then I woke up here again.
Conclusion: This was a very interesting shift and definitely more vivid than my last mini shift. Now I didn’t do a reality check because I wasn’t really thinking about it. Now I truly don’t believe any reality is objectively real as I said before. But how I believe this experience was different to the experience of “dreams”, are a few things:
- I have had shifting experiences in the past few years ago and this shifting experience felt as clear as that
- I woke up in a bed. Usually in my dreams I don’t wake up in a bed. I always become lucid mid scene in the dream usually while standing up. If I do wake up in a bed in my dreams it’s only in my cr bedroom never a “different place.” It also happens repeatedly over and over again. in very short amounts of time
- There were just so many little clear vivid details in this reality.
- It was also clearer than my last minishift where I did do a reality check.
However, none of these things are universal rules for reality, because remember, you as awareness are the one who created these so called “rules” in the first place. This is all a game you created or chose to reflect. This is all a game you created or chose to reflect. I don’t mean you as awareness sat there writing everything, but all reflections exist within you. You are the screen in which the movie plays on. People will claim that “infinite” does not mean “infinite realities exist,” but that’s only because they’re defining infinity from the character’s tiny logic, not from the place awareness is actually operating. Infinity isn’t a number. It’s a field. A capacity. A space where every variation, every identity, every possibility is already alive the moment it’s perceived.
I hope my experience was helpful to someone regardless and I hope you enjoyed reading this ❤️.
