edexcel english lit advice

i've recently had my mocks and i got straight A*s EXCEPT english lit, and what's even worse is that i got an 8 on my last mock exam, but this time i got a 6

the poetry questions were good but the OMAM question legit dragged by grades down

i need some advice/help on how to structure my writing on character/theme questions, and how i can intertwine the context of my novel more 😞
