trying to get to know Avatar better

Hi! I'm just getting to know the band Avatar and I'd like you guys to tell me more about them. So far I only know Statue of the King, which I REALLY liked. I'm a big Slipknot fan, and Avatar seemed heavier than Slipknot – the vocalist's guttural vocals remind me of some death metal bands. What do you recommend? What's Avatar's best album?
