Doubting buying lenovo as a lenovo fan

I’ve had lenovos since they became available in regular EU stores. I currently have a gaming pc from lenovo and my last laptop was a lonovo yoga 7 series. I bought a ideapad slim 5 OLED 32 gb (amd chip) recently. The last one had motherboard issues in the first month of use and i had to claim my money back for warranty since the repair centre couldn’t repair it. I’ve read countless people with different lenovo laptops who experience the same type of issues recently. This makes me doubt buying a lenovo again from the refunded money I got.

I study in Data science and need a reliable laptop, 32gb is prefered (and this is a bad timing with the ram prices right now). Lenovo seems price wise still the only one te give me this option without spending a fortune but for the first time im doubting lenovos reliability. Is there any reason why these issues seem to be happening a lot the last year or so? Or is this just me being BIASed by my own experience.
