Brother of a Sibling with Diabetes.

Hello everyone!

My sister was recently sent to the Hospital and diagnosed with Diabetis Type A (1 i Believe). She already told me about how she has to weight everything she eats and so on. I am still a bit confused tho, could anyone please give me any tips regarding helping my sister out? I had to inject her today and it also didnt go well, but I please want tips in general.

Also one last question. The App that she uses to see her `number` thingy, it doesnt really match the one we get when we try it with her blood. Yesterday her phone showed 6.9 I believe, while the Blood test showed a score of 8.4. Why is that?
