Karma system already exists ?

So to cut a long story short. I died yesterday to a guy in a very embarrassing way. I knew he acted shady but still chose to trust. I breached a container and he was there looking. I knew but I didn’t want to believe because he still was unarmed. Once a started searching the container he blasted. I was angry and I finally snapped. Went to Stella night just to save my conscious and started blasting people. Since yesterday, I haven’t had a single encounter that didn’t result is shooting. Is there actually a karma system we don’t know about? How do I go back ? if I die enough times maybe. How do I atone ?
