N on my license & moving to Ontario

I have an N on my Nova Scotia license but have been driving since 2022 with no issue, I just moved to Ontario & went to go switch my license & they told me I would get a G2. My understanding is the N gets dropped from my license after two years of no infractions, so he told me to come back if I could prove that. I guess I’d get a drivers abstract? Does anyone have any experience switching licenses over?
