Thoughts on how unpredictable this Men's DI season feels right now

Men's DI

I have been following college hockey for a long time and this season feels wild in a way I did not expect. Every time I think a team is about to pull ahead and take control of their conference, they get knocked down the next weekend by someone who has been playing quietly but steadily. It feels like no one is safe this year and I honestly love it. What makes it more fun is how many teams seem to be building momentum from unexpected places. It feels like there are more programs than usual developing legit depth instead of relying on one dominant line or one standout goalie. Even some of the mid tier teams look capable of taking down anyone on the right night. I am curious if others feel the same way. Does this season seem more unpredictable to you or is it just recency bias on my end I am not talking about specific games or results, just the overall vibe of the year. It feels like a perfect mix of chaos and competition that makes DI hockey so fun to follow.
