Is there a requirements to update myUSCIS personal address on top of SEVP?

Hello everyone!

I am currently on post completion OPT who started working this summer, I reported my employer and personal address change to DSO within 10 days of the change occurring and they updated my SEVP/SEVIS record to reflect change. However, I have been anxious about not updating the address on myUSCIS portal as it still has my old address from when I was applying for OPT.

I have been seeing conflicting information about this so now I am anxious that I didn’t update myUSCIS portal with my new address. Anyone have an insight on this?
