I despise the standard practice of ignoring leading definite and indefinite articles in titles (when sorting alphabetically).

Being autistic isn't evil, but I sure am! 😈

― It's **A** Tribe Called Quest, not Tribe Called Quest

― It's **The** Rolling Stones, not Rolling Stones

― It's **The** Left Hand of Darkness, not Left Hand of Darkness

I think it's fine if you're talking about them informally, but when sorting things by their titles? The articles are part of the title, ffs.

"There are a lot of stuff starting with 'The' so people will have to search for the second word anyways" I see no problem in searching for something by its name

"What about that band who has some releases as 'The Smashing Pumpkins' and others as 'Smashing Pumpkins'" Yeah that appears to be their fault

Maybe this is just my OCD but it infuriates me when I open my music library and there's 'The Beatles' in the 'B' section.
