DIY Exhaust HEPA + carbon filter for P2S

Self Designed Model

Hey everyone,

I built a custom external filter for the P2S and wanted to share it with you.

The P2S only uses its built-in filter in the heating mode. For PLA and other materials that prefer a cool chamber the air is basically unfiltered, so I designed a filter box that plugs into the unused left air channel.

Inside are two 40×40 mm fans (I’m currently running two Noctua NF-A4x10 24V PWM which are quiet but not super powerful) pulling air through an 80×40 mm HEPA filter and a carbon cartridge filled with granulate. The fans are connected directly to the P2S mainboard (24 V, 4-pin header), so the filter can be controlled from the printer screen, Bambu Studio or via filament profile / G-Code.

The carbon cartridge is fully removable, and the HEPA sits in the lid with print-in-place latches, so both are easy to replace.

I’ve uploaded all Design (versions for 10/20/28 mm fan height) and a more detailed description here:
