Ninja AF100 stopped working, then randomly fixed itself after being offered a replacement.

Advice/Tips

Earlier today my AF100EU showed the “CLS” error, meaning the basket is not inserted (despite it being inserted properly). I removed and reinserted it several times, it did nothing. I cleaned the air fryer, assuming maybe there are some crumbs stuck somewhere and maybe they prevent the proper contact. After the cleaning it finally detected the basket and it started running, but then a new issue appeared:

•	The timer wasn’t counting down,
•	The fan wasn’t spinning at all.

I unplugged it because I didn’t want to risk a fire hazard. I tried plugging/unplugging a few times but it still wouldn’t work.

I called Ninja customer service, they were very helpful and offered to replace my unit with an upgraded AF140EU, as long as I send mine back for inspection. I received the emails for the return process, and the new air fryer invoice shows up as free.

After this phone call, the air fryer started working properly (as if it heard the call xD)

So now I’m unsure what to do.

My questions: 1. Should I still send it back and proceed with the replacement even though it’s currently working again? 2. Is there a chance they might test it, see that it works, and just send my old unit back instead of giving me the replacement?

Any advice from people who’ve dealt with Ninja support or intermittent appliance failures would be really appreciated.
