Normalizing not involving yourself with toxic family just because they're family

I give H&M huge props for this. People all over social media are ridiculing them over Thomas Markle's recent medical emergency, and we truly don't know if they have or haven't reached out - it's personal.

What we do know is they're setting a standard for not being involved with toxic people. Many people argue and say things like, "but they're family," and that's not a reason to be in contact.

Every day I'm more and more proud of these two, especially as I see the nonsense unfolding with the BRF. They've cultivated their own life far away from all of that and seem truly happy. Good for them!! I hope more people can recognize this and break away from toxic patterns in their own lives, they really are setting an example.
