36 [F4M] VA - There’s Snow Time Like the Present to Start Chatting

What can I say? I love bad jokes and puns.

I’m a 36-year-old professional who works fully remote for a nonprofit, which gives me the freedom to travel often—though western Virginia will remain home base for at least the next decade. I’m divorced, a mom of two wonderful kids I share 50/50 custody of, and a proud dog mom to two lovable pups…one of whom is an adorable puppy with piranha teeth.

I love reading, losing myself in craft projects, and exploring new places—whether that’s an afternoon at a museum or discovering a new city. I’m well-educated, intelligent, and passionate about helping others, with a fiercely liberal streak and a strong sense of justice.

Dating apps, though? They’re exhausting. If I see one more guy with a “just ask” bio, I swear I’ll start handing out copies of How to Write a Complete Sentence as party favors. I’m not looking for endless swiping, half-hearted effort, or vague profiles—I want something real. I don’t want to start with looks as the only determining factor.

That being said, I know physical attraction is critical in a relationship. To that end, I’m a short brunette with an hourglass shape. I’ve been working on improving my health and fitness for the last year - it’s an ongoing project but I’m happy with how I look. I wear glasses, and my makeup shade is “pale alabaster” so yeah, pass me the sunscreen. And don’t let me forget my hat.

What I’m looking for is a man who’s intelligent, motivated, and kind. You should love dogs (non-negotiable), be seeking a committed and monogamous relationship, and enjoy intimacy as part of a deeper connection—not the whole story. Bonus points if you love museums, history, and the thrill of exploring somewhere new. Whether you’re open to relocating down the road or ready to make a long-distance setup work, I’m looking for someone who’s ready to build something meaningful.

If that resonates, I’d love to hear from you. Please give a bit of an intro or tell me about your day - it’s hard to continue a conversation beyond “hi”, so give me a little something to work with!
