Moving to Dublin Jan ’26 — Seeking Affordable Accommodation (Up to 1-Hour Commute from City Center)

Hello everyone!

I’m moving to Ireland in January 2026 to start college at NCI. I don’t yet have a place to stay for January rent, so I’m looking for affordable accommodation — ideally within a 1-hour public transport commute to Dublin city center.

I’m open to living in Lucan or other areas slightly outside Dublin, as long as commuting time remains reasonable. If you know any good neighborhoods, shared apartments, or rooms available (starting in January), I’d really appreciate your suggestions — or even a heads-up if you’re sharing with someone.
