Unfair treatment?

Question

I’m just an Airman honestly looking for some advice on what I should do in my situation. Recently at my duty station, there has been a big push to move Airmen out of the dorms and off base because there is no room. I was slotted in with the group of people expected to move off base since I’ve been here about a year and a half and have 2 years of TIS.

The list of people moving off base came out today, and my name was not on it. In August of this year, I failed a room inspection for having my door open and my bed unmade. In turn, I was required to see the Shirt. After speaking with the ADL and asking why my name wasn’t on the list, I was told the Shirt had marked me as ineligible to move out of the dorms.

The reason I’m asking is that many people on the list who are slotted to move out have paperwork or have received other forms of punishment, but were still allowed to move off base. I have been nothing short of a good Airman, have received no paperwork or punishments, and have passed my upgrade training test.

The ADL says to speak with my leadership and see if I can resolve the issue with them. However, to be frank, I do not believe my leadership will come to my aid in this matter since they know about my room inspection failure. They will most likely agree with the Shirt, since they have no incentive to help me.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue, or do I need to speak to the Shirt directly?
