Anyone found a good guide for companion challenges?

I'm having trouble figuring a lot of these out. For example, I assumed "Perform Assist Kills" is both my companion and I shooting the same enemy and that enemy dying but that doesn't appear to be the case. Also no clue what a "collateral kill" is but apparently I have done it 22 times. Don't even get me started on getting them to clear status effects, etc.
