Am I a victim of elite strategy or collusion?
I need help determining whether I was a victim of collusion or fair play and strategy.
I play in a home league with friends for relatively small money. 12 team 1 QB. With a playoff berth at stake, my 7-6 team found itself without a QB on the roster for week 14. No big deal, Ill just claim one of the 9 available starting QBs on waivers ( I had 12th priority.) Well another manager (also 7-6) noticed that I need a QB. He then reached out to at least 7 or 8 other managers making them aware of my situation, suggesting to them to claim QBs preventing me from adding one this week for a crucial week 14 matchup. Waivers ran and 5 managers claimed QBs, two of those managers (non playoff teams) claimed a second QB with a total of 7 QBs being picked up.
I'm familiar with a blocking strategy used on waivers, and I'm fine with non playoff teams continuing to compete and make waiver claims, however this is different. One manager orchestrated a massive block against me. Brilliant strategy or collusion? I appreciate anybody's help in offering an opinion.
