Nice restaurants for birthday?

My wife turns 30 this year, and her birthday falls on New Year’s Eve. I want to take her somewhere nice, her favorite food is steak but I’m not trying to spend $1,000 on a single ribeye lol. Google throws way too many options and it’s hard to gauge that many places at once. being on such a big holiday I’m assuming reservations to most places will be necessary and some might already be booked, but all suggestions are welcome and appreciated!
