What's the difference between windows ver and Java & Bedrock ver? The latter keeps crashing for me

Hi so, I don't play Minecraft 😅 I bought the Deluxe version as a gift to my nephew but for some reason I can only open the Windows version while the Java & Bedrock version keeps crashing upon launch

Idk if it's a hardware issue or if my specs are too low. I have a Legion laptop but it's only 1660ti, 8gb

This is his Christmas gift so just want to make sure I downloaded the right one 😅
