Delhi vs mumbai scene

Woahhhhh, i will tell my background first. I am delhi comic and started comedy there in 2023 july. I did comedy there for 2 years and then shifted to Mumbai because of my higher studies(bad decision in terms of comedy). The Mumbai scene is fucked up i mean they dont let you stage time, these people are so narcissist that they have been doing it for more than 6-7 years without posting even single video. Whats the point of comedy when you dont post even your tight bit. On the other half delhi scene is more toxic but itss fun , if you want to make a character and write good tight jokes go and perform open mics in delhi

There are hardly open mics here and the concept of busking is still far away. This is why throughout the years after 2-3 comics mumbai fail to produce good comedians and as far as delhi is considered the new comics like Kaustubh, Kushagra are selling more tickets in Mumbai than the mumbai comics itself. If you want to be a comic and is serious about the art form. Go back to delhi ( for me atleast ) or else you are cooked. PS: I am sad today, i travelled for single spot for 2 hours to juhu and got to know spot got cancelled and they dont even tell you that mic is cancelled because they have policy to tell “1.5 hours before the mic”
