F-1 Visa Pending for 4 Months – I-20 Start Date Already Passed

Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice regarding my F-1 student visa application.

I had my interview at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi in August, and since then my case has been in a pending review status. It has now been almost 4 months, and the CEAC status still hasn’t changed.

My I-20 start date has already passed, and my program is scheduled to begin in the first week of January, so I’m getting really concerned.

Has anyone faced such a long wait? Is there anything I can do now—like contacting the embassy, raising a support request!

Any guidance or shared experiences would be truly appreciated. Thank you!
