I hear powder is cheaper

How much cheaper is it? I feel like it can’t be by much. I am new to powder. A 40$ half gram of powder at 92% can’t be equivalent to 50 10 mil tabs can it? Seems like it’s about the same price. I am not going to do all the actual math there. I figure some people here know of the top of their head.
