Suggestions and guidance for me and my kids first cruise vacation

hello! I (38m) am looking into taking my kid (16nb) on our first cruise. We have never been on a vacation (i went to europe when I was 21 but thats it) and I want to make it awesome. I am so lost where even to begin. We both like the idea of low pressure and relaxed. So all inclusive without a TON of excursions would be ideal. The more cool stuff on the boat the better. Anyone able to give me some guidance to get started? Can I do this all for 5k, including everything?
