I don't know what to do, and i might not be able to transition

I've been wanting to transition for a while, and while talking with my mother, she says that it'd just be a terrible idea for me health wise.

She says shes done research, and that my body physically wont be able to handle hrt.

I have connective tissue issues, throughout my family. hEDS and POTS, among other things.

I understand its true, that ill have more problems, but is it really impossible for me to start? Am I just genetically fucked?

I just feel hopeless.
