Is it worth skipping GULC ii

I applied ED to GULC late Nov, received ii early Dec, but all the slots were filled for the next two weeks. It says for ED applicants, participating may delay the decision timeframe beyond four to six weeks. And that if any applicant declines the invitation or doesn’t answer within 2 weeks, they will continue reviewing our applications.

Is it ever worth not participating in the interview to potentially get an answer quicker, within the normal 4-6 weeks for ED applicant? Or would declining be a strong negative signal that would hurt my application?

(Or, does anyone who has not been able to sign up for an interview because slots were filled know how long it took for them to release new interview times?)
