Help me find a unicorn robot vacuum (pets, kids, ADHD-friendly)

My 6-year old Roomba finally died, and I’m on the hunt for a new robot vacuum that can handle a lot. I have three dogs, two little kids, and a mix of hardwood floors with area rugs. I’d like something I can run daily, knowing I’ll still need to bring out the regular vacuum every couple of days. A few things I’m specifically looking for:

Good with pet hair and daily debris

Can handle baby gates — I’d love to be able to pause it after 20–30 minutes, empty it manually and let it continue without getting trapped

Low-maintenance — I do not want something with mop pads I need to clean all the time. A mop feature is a nice bonus, but only if it doesn’t require constant upkeep

ADHD friendly — I literally just had to toss my Tineco because I left it in a closet full of dirty water… so yeah, minimal maintenance is key

Budget: ideally under $500, but I can go up to $500 if it’s truly worth it

Purchase location: would prefer Costco for the easy returns, but I’m open to buying elsewhere if needed
