best way to manage friends list?

My friend list is always at max capacity from doing raids, posting my friend code here, etc..

I absolutely love adding friends and send hundreds of gifts every day, however I am getting to the point where I am lucky friends with a lot of my list and want to continue to make room for new friends both to have local friends and to keep getting the xp that comes with the friendships.

Has anyone developed a good method for when to get rid of friends who aren’t active? Many friends are consistent in joining remote raids, still open my gifts daily (so I assume they need the gifts), etc. and I don’t want to get rid of these if I don’t have to. But ultimately a lot of my list I think may not even be active players anymore.

Anyways, just looking for info on how other people manage their friends list to hopefully find something that works for me.
