Games for late blind/low vision senior citizen
We are in the US. This post is about my Dad. He is late blind with multiple causes. He currently has 20/400 in his good eye and nothing measurable in his bad eye. His good eye recently worsened so he's struggling. He is also moderately hard of hearing w/hearing aids. He does a lot with memory and has played games tracking what others say they play.
He struggles to find engaging things to do. But especially games to play with the family. We used to play oversized UNO. But he struggles with the special cards (draw, change direction, etc). He does NOT know Braille. He also has dexterity issues.
He has made candles and played with Sculpy (room temp drying clay).
I'm also visually impaired but my good eye can see 20/80 w/correction & severely hard of hearing w/hearing aids. So anything that fits his needs I'll be able to do most likely.
Any ideas for gifts? Any ideas for new games to play?
