What to do after flatmate threatened to kill me

Need advice on what to after incident

Currently renting a flat in the UK with 2 others, one is P, who helped me find the place and also works in the same office as me, and the other is A who is the one who made the threat

Friday around 6pm, a small argument between me and him over a drying rack being out of position escalated quickly, resulting in him threatening to assault me, and then threatening to kill me and P, saying “I would put you and P in a bin in pieces and I wouldn’t have to lift a finger to do it”. I’m not a big guy, and this guy is easily twice my size, so I took his threat seriously.

I locked myself in my room, and messaged everyone I thought important, I didn’t want to make a phone call as the walls aren’t thick enough and I was scared he could hear me

I left the flat when I got the chance taking what I thought was essential and went to the office to tell P not to go home and to think on what to do next.

We went to the police station that night and filed a report, and we found a place to stay for the night

I also told my landlord who is a nice guy, as he was also aware that things have been hostile at home for a while, and he told me not to return home for now, and gave A a notice to give a written statement before the end of the day. Officer at the station also said that in case it happens again to immediately call 999

What I’m asking is, is what to do next, as we have to return to the flat eventually, and I’ve got work on Monday.
