Trail building/grooming for cheapos

I have these dumb ideas. So far I’ve taken the hood from a 1990 Craftsman mower, tied a rope to it, filled it with some logs and I b pull that around my home trail that’s roughly 1/2 mile. It’s loads of fun for the dogs and I once it firms up. I’m looking for some input to refine the process and if I don’t get any ideas redneck ingenuity might cause me to create some unholy junkyard demon of a snow groomer. Anyway, SO FAR my new idea is to take 4 plastic pump sprayers and put them into the “sled” and aim the wands to spray behind me to make a freeze solid surface early in the season. Otherwise I might take my small air compressor and run a regulated pressure into a 5 gallon bucket and have sprayer coming out from that. Idk, what are you people doing to groom fat bike trails for cheap?
