Season 1 just baffles me.
Episode 2 - Carries visits her modelizer friend (the guy from Suits) and he shows her several sex tapes. She asks if they know they’re being taped, and he says “maybe”. Her voice over goes "I didn't know what to say except..."
She asks him for a cigarette and sits down and joins him watching
those women without their consent.I would have walked out right there and never talk to him again. How can you be friends with such a person - but there again, she actually joined him. If someone did it to her,
wouldn't she mind?

Episode 6 - Miranda snoops around in her new bf's appartment without his permission. She views a tape he has without his consent and then even shows the tape to Carrie without his consent. Seems like he's probably into BDSM. Miranda
does not give him the time and space bring it up whenever he feels ready and trusts her enough. They just stared dating, after all. Instead, she brings it up herself, so of course he leaves her, shocked.
What if he had done this to Miranda? Found her intimate secret, shown his friends, thrown it in her face later?

Episode 3 - Miranda's colleague from work, introduces her to a lesbian, Sid, assuming Miranda is gay. Miranda and Sid fake-date because Miranda wants to be partner in the firm, which is fine, I guess, because Sid agrees.
But then, randomly, in an elevator, Miranda kisses Sid out of nowhere, even though Sid knows by then that Miranda is not interested.

This lesbian woman is just standing there, smiling like "oh,yeah, people randomly cross my boundaries and kiss me out of nowhere, that is totally fine" as if this was ok.
What if Sid did this to Miranda, how would she react?

We're angry at Carrie for season 3 and later seasons - but what about season 1?
