I didn’t go to the Nagaland Revival Festival and somehow the whole thing has stayed in my mind more than I expected. I kept watching the videos, the photos, the lives, and every time I replayed them, the same thought kept coming back: “This is different. This is bigger than anything we’ve had in a long time.” Not because of the visuals or the noise but because of the reason people were there. When I saw the crowd, 1.5 to 1.6 lakh people, it didn’t feel like a number. It felt like a statement about who we are as a people. Nobody gathers like that for something shallow. Nobody travels from villages and towns, filling every corner of a forgotten stadium, unless something deep inside them still responds to faith. That’s the thing outsiders don’t fully get about the Northeast: the faith DNA here is strong. It’s not a trend, not a performance. It’s something you absorb growing up, something that stays inside you even when you’re far away from church or going through your own struggles. And seeing State Stadium Dimapur like that honestly moved me. That place has been almost dead for years. Everybody knows its condition, grass taking over, walls fading, the whole place feeling like a leftover from another time. We’ve all passed it without even thinking twice. But during those nights it looked alive again. Not because it was renovated or polished but because people stepped into it with purpose. The stadium didn’t create the moment. The people created it. Faith created it. The energy didn’t come from the place; the place borrowed its energy from the crowd. Then you look at the Coldplay concert, 1.34 lakh in one of the best stadiums in the world with massive production, tickets worth thousands, everything designed to impress. What happened in Dimapur wasn’t designed at all. There was no marketing, no show, no world tour banner. Yet the crowd was bigger and the meaning was deeper. That comparison alone shows how much belief still shapes this land. Watching all of this from home wasn’t easy. It wasn’t the usual “I missed something fun” feeling. It was more like watching a moment that carried weight, a moment that meant something to people, a moment that reminded us of our roots and realizing I wasn’t physically in it. But even from far away I felt connected. The videos didn’t feel like content. They felt like pieces of a night that meant something real. You could tell in the faces, the singing, the way people stood together without hesitation. It wasn’t hype. It was unity. It was sincerity. And honestly that’s what stayed with me. The simplicity of it. The honesty. The way faith brought life into a stadium that had been quiet for so long. The way thousands came together because something inside them still answers when God stirs a land. The way the whole thing didn’t need perfection to carry meaning. I wasn’t there in the crowd but the moment still reached me. It still made me think about who we are, what we carry, and how deep our roots actually go. What happened in that stadium wasn’t just a big gathering. It was a reminder. A reminder of identity. A reminder of belief. A reminder that faith here isn’t fading. It’s still alive enough to fill a dying stadium and make it feel like the center of everything for a night. I missed the physical moment but I didn’t miss what it meant and in a strange way that meaning is what hit the deepest.

(It’s a humble request, I don’t want arguments here, I just want it to be a safe space for the Christians of Northeast or anyone who is interested in it, please!!!)
