Geode mutation adding zero value?

So, i saved up a ton of fruits for admin abuse this morning with plans to unleash the geode sprinkler and 5x their values.

Low and behold, they are getting the mutation and not increasing in value. One example, i had a Romanesco worth 30 mil, it got the mutation added, and still worth the same. Anyone know why?
