I think I’m ready to boycott taking insurance in 2026

For context I am a full time pp clinician in my own practice. I see about 25 patients a week on average and the majority are insurance based.

I just finished reading the post about the BCBS headway audit and this is just one too many horror stories I’ve come across not only online but in my real life with colleagues I know.

I’m going to take some time to draft up a plan that offers sliding scales across the board and depanel completely. I’m so sick of big tech and insurance fucking us all over (patients and clinicians).

Are most of you starting to feel the same way? I feel so burnt out with insurance.
