Valid ba reason ko to break up?

Problem/Goal: First of all, if di ka fan ng flower-giving or receiving, please skip. I want to break up with my bf because I achieved a major milestone in my life and he only treated me ice cream.

Context: I have been preparing for my licensure exams for the past year, even before I met my bf. Recently, I took it for the first time and passed. Dati sinabi nya he will buy me flowers, but ngayon sabi nya sa oath taking nalang daw bigla. Nilibre nya lang ako ng ice cream, sinamahan ako mag shopping but kept telling me na I don’t need new clothes. I said I wanted to reward myself and because I gained a lot of weight kaya wala na akong kasya para masuot sa Christmas parties. I ended up getting nothing. We went home and called it a day. Even dinner, wala.

No, he’s not broke - he just bragged to me earlier how much money he had saved already. How is it that one can talk about how much money they have, and then at the same breath tell you na your biggest milestone doesnt deserve to be celebrated the way you wanted kasi “di nagpupulot ng pera”?

I have my own money by the way. He keeps telling me na the food/gifts/chocolates he gets from work, sakin napupunta and di pa daw enough sakin yun. Eh di naman workmates nya ang jinowa ko. Minsan lang pumasa ng board exam ang tao, ako pa ang nagguilty into thinking na i’m asking for too much. I can always buy what I want naman but receiving flowers never feels better than receiving it from your special someone.

Previous attempts: Every month, there is always something I’m begging from him - a greeting on ig for monthsary or simple flowers kahit pulot sa daan. He always promises but never gives. After half a year, I’m done waiting.
