AITA for asking my mom not to share her complaints about my dad with me?

Since my childhood if any argument between my parents happens i would be listener of my moms side of the story then i would go to confront my dad about it and hear his side of the story then i would take appropriate measures and deal with it like beings very straightforward and confronting both of them about where they went wrong, but today my mom and dad were arguing while i was in the hospital ffs (unrelated) my mom caught my dad smoking and when confronted by her about it, they both ended up arguing and my mom called me crying about it- i again obviously confronted my dad and managed to reconcile their arguments but my mom came and apologized to me and said i will not tell you anything from now on don't worry. I am a male recently turned 18
