Desert Hot Springs

My husband (M 54) and I (M 53) are considering a move to Coachella Valley. We spent a few days checking the area out. PS, Cat City areas. I like the cove area of CatCity. My husband was surprised by the new development in DHS. I’m not sold on DHS. My concern is crime, wind, and medical access. Is it safe for a gay couple? Thoughts?
